Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

£150 online purchase from wesley guitars website. I bought it because it looked great and i had heard good things about it.

Sounds amazing, for the price i paid, i was amazed sounds better than any bass ive had plays really well. Really moody deep sound.

HEAVY. Im sure this is the heaviest bass on the planet, i had to get a huge wide strap just to have it round my neck for more than 20 mins.

Has a handbuilt quality to it which in someways is really good because of the extra craftsman's feel to it, however it does have its slight flaws like, the input has a bit of give in it and the tuning keys can feel loose on the headstock

It is great, it sounds different, good and is great to play. It also is one of the best looking basses ive ever seen, especially with stage-lights shining through it. However very heavy and not as practical as i would have hoped
